BIOG

THE EARLY YEARS

Born and raised in Nottingham, I was mad about sport, balancing my academic studies with football, tennis and athletics and jobs in restaurants and gyms. After completing my A-levels, I chose to pursue a career as a Personal Trainer, landing a role at a new fitness centre at Nottingham University. Then, in 2004, I was cast in 'Cheating in Athens: Is It Worth It?', a groundbreaking Channel 4 documentary exploring the effects of performance-enhancing supplements and drugs. Filmed over seven weeks on the Gold Coast in Australia, the experience was life-changing—I fell in love with Australia and knew I had to find a way back. Three months after returning home, I quit my job, sold my car, and flew back to Australia to work on I’m a 'Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!'—a decision that [literally] flipped my life upside down.

2006 - 2017

By the time my journey in Australia came to an end, I had gained invaluable experience in TV and commercial production—enough to know this was the path I wanted to pursue. Determined to build on what I’d learned, I moved to London, ready to carve out a career in the industry. What followed was a relentless pursuit to establish myself—working tirelessly to secure roles, gain experience, and prove my future was in TV production. By 2017, I had worked with dozens of production companies across Entertainment, Factual, Comedy, and Children's programming, going on to produce multi-million-pound productions for major broadcasters in the UK and internationally.

2017 - 2024

By 2016, I recognised the shift in content creation, with social media emerging as a powerful space for advertisers. Determined to adapt, I pursued opportunities that combined high-quality, purpose-driven content with digital-first strategies. This led to an introduction to Ben Uttley, founder of Stamp Productions, a former professional rugby player and actor. In 2017, I joined as Senior Producer, collaborating with exceptional talent both in front of and behind the camera to create diverse content for global brands. During this time, I expanded my expertise beyond filmmaking—producing soundtracks, music scores, and podcasts—further reinforcing my passion for storytelling and innovation.

“While I greatly valued my time at Stamp Productions, after nearly eight incredible years, I was ready for a new challenge. This led to the opportunity to work with the brilliant DMC, helping develop and strategise MAGINATIØN — an educational content platform rooted in magic, built to inspire confidence, creativity, and communication in young people. Outside of work, I’m married and a proud father of a six-year-old boy and a nine-year-old girl. Passionate about my friends, food, sport and fitness, I’ve also written and published a children’s book, with more stories in development. I live by the belief that 'progress is impossible without change' and constantly push myself to grow—both personally and professionally.

FUNNY STORY

During my time in Australia between 2004 and 2006, I worked on a number of local shows and commercials. One day, while filming a corporate ad on Bondi Beach for Oporto Chicken, an actor didn’t show up. With no time to waste, I was asked to step in—playing frisbee, running into the sea, and enjoying a scenic lunch on the rocks with the rest of the cast. I never saw the finished film, but years later, I got a message from a friend in Australia: 'Mate, why are you on the wall of a chicken restaurant?' That was in 2006, and to this day, I’m still there. My hope is to go back one day and see it for myself… I believe I’m owed a lot of free chicken.
