In 2020, a friend and CBeebies Presenter, Nigel Clarke (one of the busiest and most hard-working people I've ever met), called me about a podcast he was developing called Dadvengers. At its root, Dadvengers is a call to action for fathers to open up about their thoughts and feelings about being a dad. As a father, I was right behind it, so I was happy to help him get it going.  I learned many things from Dadvengers, but one of the most common was that dads loved reading stories to their children. It made me think about how great it would be if you were the one who wrote them. Fast forward four years (yes, FOUR years), and I can finally say I have. My angle? To write stories that inspire children and may help make parenting that little bit easier in the process.
